Established in the fall of 2002 Iranian Student Association in America (ISAA) at UC Berkeley is a non-political, non-religious, voluntary graduate student organization, acting as a source of union and support for the Iranian community at the University of California, Berkeley. ISAA strives for improving the academic, professional, and societal experiences of Iranian students, increasing the voice of Iranians within the United States, and promoting the Iranian community, identity, and culture to its graduate students.

How to get to UC Berkeley campus?
From Oakland International Airport (OAK):
Ride by Volunteers: ISAA tries to help the new students upon their arrival for a ride to Berkeley area. Please join our Newcomers Telegram group to get more information in this regard.
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit): BART is a convenient and popular option to travel from Oakland International Airport to UC Berkeley. You can take the BART train from the airport’s dedicated BART station to the Downtown Berkeley station. The ride takes approximately 25-30 minutes. From the Downtown Berkeley station, you can take a bus or walk to the UC Berkeley campus (link).
Airport Shuttle Directory: The Bay Area Rapid Transit system (BART) is the cheapest option, but you may find shuttle vans more convenient (link).

From San Francisco International Airport:

If this is your first time in the US, you probably do not have credit cards or car-sharing accounts (like Uber, Lyft, etc.).
Check online for shuttle coupons, especially student discounts, if you plan to reserve online.
